GEC Z8591

Another of GEC's range of Mercury lanterns for Group B roads, the Z8591 was a second generation model, being a modified version of the Z8491.

This example carries the polycarbonate outer globe and runs an 80w/125w MBFU. Due to the fact that Devon never really moved away from time clocks, these lanterns generally survived undrilled right up to their removal.

A full strip down and repaint will be carried out on this lantern when time allows.
