Thorn Alpha 8 (Mk1)
Thorn completely redesigned the Alpha 8 that was previously made by predecessors Atlas. This all-aluminium lantern was the result.
Dating from 1979, this Alpha 8 originally replaced a GEC Dioptrion lantern on an ex-tram pole in Plymouth.
