GEC Z5670

A popular lantern, the Z5670 was one of a family of post tops made by GEC over the decades. The earlier Z5640 featured a spun aluminium lid with central lock knob. The Z5670 dispensed with the removable canopy, and created a hinge instead. Later designs simplified again, with the Z5715 sporting a purely functional chunky aluminium canopy, and no refractor glassware.
