GEC Z8431 "Dioptrion"
Undoubtedly one of the most treasured lanterns in the collection is the Dioptrion. After a lot of time and legwork a cache of these old lanterns were saved from the centre of Cirencester.
Originally designed to run an MA/V lamp, I shall probably run a 400w MB/U or MBF/U lamp.
Once commonplace across Plymouth, it is likely the only one in the city now; albeit not on the road!
