Floating on Blue-Green
It was not the best time of day for outdoor photography, as it was approaching noon in the Caribbean - harsh light and ugly shadows on the shoreline. But as I waited for the Osprey to head to Petite Martinique, I could not resist the view. A wide lens and a polarizer did the rest. With the sun overhead, a shadow was cast directly under the boat, which added to the character of the shot. Would not have gotten that if I'd shot this in the earlier, better light of morning.
I appreciate all the comments and awards, especially those who recognize the polarizer at work here. That's how the effect was created, and not by Photoshopping. Thanks.
