San Francisco de Asis Church, Ranchos de Taos

This is my homage to Georgia O'Keeffe ( And maybe Reddirtrose too). I was always fond of her paintings of this church. To me this is one of those quintessential images of New Mexico.

 

It is ironic that the back of the church is photographed and painted much more often than the front.
