Touched by the Dragon

(Drum & gong of the Dragon dance troupe.)

 

I had the camera on tripod behind the drummer. The drum and gong were loud and the tempo fast. I felt the goose bumps behind my neck and my forearms.

 

As the dragon ran pass between the drummers and the man with child on the right, I opened the shutter. The exposure was too long to capture the dragon, but short enough to catch the child in a daze. It was a moment touched by the dragon.
