A Couch and Four Kittens
I have taken many snapshots of these kittens, so I can keep some great memories of this very cool experience. Never did I intend to take a semiserious planned picture of them. However, I noticed that once they were brave and curious enough to leave the room where they were born; it was the couch in the living room that they quickly chose to be their center of the universe. This is where four kittens decided they would spend most of their time playing and sleeping.
My plan was to capture the essence of their playtime, by setting up my tripod and camera in front of the couch. I just let them do their thing, wile I snapped away. A little post-processing in Photoshop with Layers, and here is the final image.
After the kittens are eight weeks old, I am 99% sure that I will give each of them away. Hanging out with the kittens right now, makes it very difficult to let go of that BIG one percent.
UPDATE: I did keep one of the kittens! Based on their mother Padme's choice; we kept Luke who is pictured here in the very center of the couch, as well as a couple of takes of him scrambling up the front.
Besides, this Luke should get to know his mother.
