Sand Harbor Sunrise - Panorama
Sand Harbor State Park - Lake Tahoe - Nevada
This was my third visit to this beach. During my previous two visits, I struggled to find a view that I wanted to capture; however this place is so beautiful I was determined to keep looking. On this visit, I decided that I would shoot a panorama view, so I could capture a scene closer to what can be seen with the human eye.
This finished panorama is comprised of 21 images that were captured using both 14 and 15mm lens settings. I wanted to experiment with two focal lengths in an attempt to enhance perspective. I purposely left a good amount of negative area above and to the sides, to convey a sense of space and tranquility. I want the viewer to feel that this is a scene that one could be part of, and maybe feel a sense of calm or relaxation.
