Lake Powell Clearing Storm

This first shot taken during my recent trip to Utah and Arizona looks so not typical of a scene from the Southwest, especially when looking at the tones, and only the sliver of a hint of red rock in the background. However, Lone Rock Beach is located on the Utah side of Lake Powell, just after crossing the border from Arizona. This was the only colorful sunset during my trip, so obviously it had to be the easiest place to get to, by far.
