Lupine Fusion

This is the third image I processed of the lupine wildflower displays, in the Lake Tahoe Area. As the displays were so stunning, I wanted to photograph them in as many different lighting situations as possible. This shot of the lupine fields was photographed at sunset, using the front-lighting, behind me. I waited until the sun was low, to maximize the lighting effect. Although not specifically required for this shot, I used 2 ND filters to darken the sky enough to further enhance the glow of the wildflowers, making the lupines the prime focus of the image.
