International training for the opening event of the 2022/23 IBSF North American Cup skeleton races at the Whistler Sliding Center on Blackcomb Mountain, BC. Around 100 bobsleigh and skeleton athletes from over 20 nations competed.
The Sliding Centre was home to the 2010 Winter Olympic bobsleigh, luge and skeleton events - touted as the fastest track on the international race circuit with skeleton sleds reaching up to 146 kilometres an hour down 1,700 metres of curated ice. It’s all over in less than a minute.
