Wasp F1
As with many of the ships designed by Llwyngwril Space Systems, the Wasp did suffer from a few practical draw backs. The first was that the cockpit was several metres above the ground and pilots had to use ladders or special lifts to get in and out.
The colour scheme of the Wasp was chosen when it operated over the famous "Checkered Sea" on the planet Foss IV. It cost so much to paint the ships that they then stayed in these colours for the rest of their service lives, despite being incredibly easy to spot and shoot down. Checkered water from the seas of Foss IV is now used as the main ingredient in its renowned tartan paint factory.
