Big Red 23 - Drivers & Suspension
Life was a constant struggle on the desert planet of Ffynnon IV. Where could a new source of water be found? Would it be contaminated? Most importantly, would it be any use for making a nice cup of tea?
Big Red 23 was answer to these questions. A former heavy mining rover, Red 23 would drive out to potential springs and deploy its elite scientist and their equipment. Samples would be subjected to spectrographic analysis. The water would be filtered, tested and sniffed. Finally, test brews would be made and tried out on the drivers, who were relatively disposable in comparison to the science crew.

Features an L motor for drive and a Servo motor for steering. Pendular suspension on the rear axle. Four crew, housed in a semi-monocoque, brick-built torsion tube, strengthened with Technic stringers top & bottom.
