Drew in Palladium (experiment)
With the help of my good friend Jeremy Moore, I'm finally getting good ideas for where I want to go in choosing a process for making fine prints of some of my B&W images. In abbreviated terms, this is a Palladium print on drafting vellum that is dry-mounted to watercolor paper and then waxed. This is just a test print, so the tones aren't exactly where I want them, and the scan doesn't quite do justice to the print itself (which looks great), but I am really excited about this process and will hopefully begin making fine prints again using this method. It's less like a traditional Palladium print in look and more like what I wanted but was never quite able to get out of a lot of silver prints. This is the closest I've come so far to getting the look I really want for a large portion of my personal work, so it's encouraging.
