Autumn Morning at Branta Pond

Lord Stirling Park, Basking Ridge, New Jersey

 

I was fortunate to be in position for this shot as the last remnants of fog burned off and warm sunlight struck some of the foliage. When considering a landscape shoot I check the weather in advance. Had the forecast said "clear sky", I would not have gotten out of bed for this.
