HMS Ambush departs Gibraltar 29/7/2016
Royal Navy's HMS Ambush, a nuclear powered attack submarine, which sustained damage in waters off Gibraltar last week departed HM Naval Base Gibraltar this afternoon.
Following the removal of her weapons yesterday, the ship sailed from Gibraltar under her own power but despite of her damage, to sail and sonar, it is anticipated that the journey to the UK will be made submergerd. She will be fully repaired in the UK.
