music is my medicine

i couldn't really imagine a life without music. i know it's cliche but really i couldn't. nothing can lift me up, knock me down and chill me out like music.

 

i like so many different genres, i guess the only ones i don't enjoy are country and metal. however, indie and alternative rock have been my thing for a while. favs are vampire weekend, mgmt, arcade fire and the shins.

 

i'm a big fan of last fm, have been on there for a while and have discovered lots of new amazing bands. if you don't know it, go check it out. it's a social music site that saves the tracks you listen to on your profile and gives you recommendations based on your bands. check out my profile and add me if you want.
