The wizards of Noordhoek

A double double-time shot. The sea is a 4 minute exposure taken in civil twilight i.e before sunset, when the rays of the sun illuminate the rocks. The sky at that time was monotonal and uninteresting.

So the sky was exposed from the same spot around 30 mintes later (for 1/60th sec) in nautical twilight or just after the sun had dipped below the horizon and illuminated the clouds.

I like the magical way the rocks seem to have a diaphonous blue cape around them - hence the title 'the wizards'.
