Fire and sky || Bombo {Explore 248, 9/7/2025}

I had forgotten that I did some wool spinning at Bombo last year. The milky way was pretty high for a single 14mm frame so I lit some fine steel wool in a metal egg whisk and spin it on a rope. The 30 second exposure captures the liquid embers flying everywhere as well as the night sky.

It is an abandoned rock quarry so no fear of fire so the perfect location :-)
