The Warm Glow Of Love's Light [Explored]

Ok, so maybe not love's light or any real source of light actually. But enough said about that, in terms of the processing. We were most certainly bathing in love's light. I miss her already. I am sorry you have to see pictures of us two. There won't be many more.

Today was supposed to be a Wednesday wide-angle wide open project, but as it is the new year I feel like I might start some new projects. This was taken with that lens, but not quite wide open. Anyway, I need to start taking pictures, give the Sigma 85mm a real test. I am so inspired to start a strangers portrait project, of head shots as I feel I really need to improve my portraiture. However, I am not sure that would fit with my job and my personality. I really can't see myself going up to strangers and asking to take their picture. Maybe I will try starting with a 52 week project, one stranger, head shot portrait each week? Not sure.

So, I really like this picture, as I think it portrays the feelings I was feeling at the time. Just happy, relaxed, smiley, content.........in love. I look like a scruff though! I forgot my razor and I really needed a hair cut (which is now done)! Oh well, Kate looks beautiful. I like the American streets too. The are so wide and there aren't rows of terraced housing smack bang (or dab as Kate would say) on the sidewalk (or pavement as it should be correctly called). Plus I love the aging or huge v8 monster cars all over the place and such. Awesome. God Bless America :)

Good Night all. Roll on the weekend :)
