I fixed it

Canolite D. I fixed it by using a key tag (modified), with a piece of aluminium foil attatched to it. It is a nice replacement of the original battery cap. Canolite D, a GN16 speedlite, is pretty handy with a Canonet Camera, which has inbuilt f-number indicator by using the "GN = distance * f-number" formula.
