The old stone cottage

I fell in love with this cottage…

 

1. It’s built out of random stone, which I love building.

2. The pointing is exactly how I do it on random stone.

 

It took me an absolute age to get this shot. My wife and our two friends really had to be patient, as I waited for cars , vans, and people to get out of the way!! Couldn’t they see what I was trying to do ? 😂

 

So this beautiful building is on the Holy island of Lindisfarne, situated not too far from the priory.
