Wallington Hall

The Clocktower and cafe

On Tuesday we visited the grounds of Wallington hall. We’re National Trust members, so had nothing to pay for either car parking or walking the beautiful grounds and walled garden.

We had made the visit initially in order to see the red squirrels that are reportedly in the woods there; unfortunately since the violent storms last November only one red squirrel has been seen. We were unlucky and didn’t see any. We did see a grey squirrel, and we saw a deer, and a heron too.
