Lilac

So pleased!

 

Last year whilst doing some external re-modelling around the back and side of our house we needed to take down a lilac tree… amongst many others.

 

We painstakingly dug around the base of the lilac tree and finally were able to remove it.

We re-planted it into a big black tub and placed it on the deck.

 

I had previously moved it in 2000, and now it’s more or less in the same place as it was then… except we didn’t have the deck then. Funny how things happen.

 

As you can see it has flowered beautifully.
