Another re-buffed and fluffed image on the Woodhead catches 1500v DC class 76 no. 76053 crossing the viaduct into Dinting station with a short but interesting freight, the 07.01 Northwich Yard - Whitemoor (8E67), on a misty 1977 late Autumn day.

 

I remember this working as quite a regular morning runner which appeared a few times during trackside visits up there.
