Easter Saturday Tug
Another early alarm call, this time in the hope of catching a Tug substituting for the more usual Shed on the Easter Saturday 00.41 Margam - Dee Marsh steel (6M76).
And my luck was in too as DBS unit 60020 "The Willows" passes the road crossing at Croes Newydd on the approach to Wrexham General station. While it's signalled to take the loop, the driver still has power applied to lift the train up the grade just before the level crossing, thus giving some decent exhaust haze as a result.
The shot was taken from behind the two bay platforms - they no longer see public use but the tracks do see visitors from time to time, usually from engineering track machines parked up overnight.
