Alicante Tram Line 9
The Alicante Tram is a relatively new transit system, but it is built on metre-gauge lines that date back to the 19th century. It has several tram lines in Alicante, but also an interurban line to Benidorm (towers in the background), where the electrification ends. The line then continues to Dénia, and is served by modernized class 2500 DMUs originally built by MAN, but only to Calpe. The remaining distance is without traffic since 2016, because it's being completely rebuilt.
