Portland Skyline 10 - HDR

This picture was shot on a tripod with six exposures (-2..0..+2..EV @F/3.5 and @F/9.0). I used Photomatix to create the HDR with tonemapping and detail enhanced. Increased the overall Hue/Saturation. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. Unsharp Mask.

 

We went back to the Eastbank Esplanade that Sunday night to take some long exposure shots of Portland downtown skyline. With the 3-exp shots @ F/3.5 and @F/9.0, I managed to get a total of 6-exp shots ranging from 1 sec. to 30 secs. This nighttime shot was taken from a different side of the Hawthorne bridge. Sorry, I cannot shoot this hand-held. I cannot hold the camera still for longer than 15 secs. without shaking. Love the 14-point star bursts created by the Sigma 10-20mm F3.5 EX DC HSM wide angle lens.
