davidhorton1010 says: 1. The ambiance, the color, the composition, the characters—all come together like a movie still. Alice in Wonderland. It takes the viewer to another world. Simply gorgeous.

davidhorton1010 says: 3. This shot makes me think of Magritte. Aside from its wonderful surrealistic qualities, this shot is all in the details—the polka dot socks, the hand, the flipped tie, the hourglass shape from the land and reflection.

davidhorton1010 says: 4. The strength in simplicity and black & white. The diagonal lines and negative space of this shot are amazing. Of course, none of that matters without a captivating subject.

davidhorton1010 says: 6. A beautifully balanced, graphic composition with proportional positive/negative space and RGB colors. What's a graphic designer not to love? Honestly, it would be a little too perfect and sterile without the WTF factor of spider boy scaling the wall—perfectly aligned along the vertical axis I might add.

davidhorton1010 says: 7. Just a great example of story telling. I suspect what is actually happening is far less intriguing than the way Haris tells it. The shot is strong and intriguing enough but the additional layer created by the reflection on the protagonist's head puts it over the top.

davidhorton1010 says: 8. Often, clever framing can backfire and just come across as gimmicky. Here it works beautifully. The placement of the rail in the foreground makes me want to move my head to see what's approaching. Beautiful colors and composition.

davidhorton1010 says: 10. I really have no idea what's going on here, nor do I care. The mystery is part of its beauty.
