Wouldn’t it be really convenient if your airline was to send you an urgent text in the next five minutes informing you that your return flight tonight has been cancelled because no one was available to fly the plane — and that you should stay put at your hotel and not bother coming to the airport until tomorrow night! 😏
What would you do?
Would you immediately dash around the corner to The PARK and the Nusr-Et Steakhouse and celebrate by ordering a big tenderloin off the grill? Or would you run inside to The Bar At Times Square and order the first of many Double Bourbons on the Rocks? Dueling Pianos is also going on tonight! Or would you rather celebrate your good fortune by taking a night ride on the Big Apple Roller Coaster? Perhaps you could do something as simple and carefree as getting a patio table at Tom’s Urban and ordering a big pizza and Chianti — and just doing some people watching all night long! ☺️
One can only hope…
But the bittersweet reality of Departure Day is that your flight won’t be cancelled and that in less than 30 minutes from now, you will be getting into a taxi to the airport, and you will be Leaving Las Vegas! 😒😧
