The bandstand marathon was the largest community event of the London 2012 Festival closing celebration. Between 1pm and 5pm on Sunday 9th September it saw hundreds of live music events in bandstands happening across the UK. The Carlisle Music City bandstand event included live music from: Alex and the Wanderband, Room Full of Mirrors, Fiona Clayton Band, Christian Moss, and The Temperance Seven.
