Chipstable North Wall King David Window
The church of All Saints Chipstable Somerset lies in the Brendon Hills near to the border with Devon. Apart from the west tower the church as it stands today dates to a major rebuilding programme undertaken in 1868 to 1869, to a design by Benjamin Ferry. There are nine windows in the church manufactured by the firm of Clayton and Bell, eight can be photographed while the ninth is in the west tower and cannot be accessed. They were all dedicated on the 25th July 1904. This picture shows the western of four windows in the north wall of the church. It depicts King David.
