Warkworth Castle, Northumberland

When I first turned up to capture this view of Warkworth Castle, the light was rather flat. I hung on for quite a while and the waiting paid off as the sun finally came out.

Just love this view from the banks of the River Cocquet next to the road that runs between Amble and Warkworth.
