Milky Way over Granby, Vermont
The Milky Way shines over the small remote town of Granby, Vermont. The main street, shown here, includes this post office and church, along with a nearby town clerk's office and public works facility. The only other town building is a one room schoolhouse down the road a ways. There are no restaurants, bars, gas stations, or stores of any kind in the town.
Granby has a population of 81 as of the last census. It was one of the last towns in the state to be hooked up to the electric grid.
