Downtown

There was not much going on when I arrived in downtown Granby, Vermont on a Saturday afternoon. The three buildings shown are a church, a post office, and the town clerk's office. There also is a one room schoolhouse just down the road. You won't find any restaurants, bars, gas stations, or stores of any kind in the town.

The town was chartered in 1761, and now has a population of 83. Granby was the last of two towns in the state of Vermont to be hooked up to the electric grid.

Thanks for your visit.
