Autumn at Alder Brook

I drive by this old bog quite often, but never thought much about photographing it until recently. The bog is at the end of Alder Brook in the town of Twin Mountain, Carroll, New Hampshire. It smelled terrible while I was there, probably from the break-down of plants and organic matter. It sort of looked like a prehistoric scene.
