A Tudor Like No Other

This is affectionately called The Nightmare Tudor due to it's heavily accentuated Gothic lines.

The Nathan G. Moore House by Frank Lloyd Wright was completely redesigned and rebuilt in 1923 after the original Wright designed, more conventional Tudor style house was severely damaged by an electrical fire.

Though clearly based on the Tudor style, Wright also drew on Mayan elements, his Textile Block concept, and the organic design concepts of Louis Sullivan.

Lots more good info about the house on wikipedia and www.steinerag.com/flw/Periodicals/InlandArch&NewsRec.htm

An amazing and unique house!
