Wolf Alert!
The slanting rays of the setting sun backlight Mexican Grey Wolves Ela and Apache who are alerting to another wolf pair nearby.
Ela was born at Brookfield Zoo, and Apache was recently flown in from the pack in southwestern New Mexico. They seem to like each other ;) Hopefully there will be some pups in the future to help in the restoration efforts of this endangered species.
