Sayers bakery Demolished

A sad sight as the main bakery on the lorenzo drive site is now demolished.This bakery has stood here for as far as I know well over 70 years and many liverpool people have worked here.This gate was the main route back into the bakery for the delivery vans on the right there was open air parking and to the left was the undercover parking and loading bay area.I worked here for a short time back in 2004 there was a guy who worked with me called fred who had worked at sayers for over 30 years.I wonder how he feels lookin at these pics
