Hedge Bindweed (Calystegia sepium), Dawlish Warren, Devon.

 

A widespread and common climbing perennial of tall vegetation including hedges, scrub, woodland edges, fens and railway banks, roadsides, waste ground and especially near habitation. It is often considered a weed of gardens where it climbs over fruit trees, vegetable crops and herbaceous plants.
