That Horse Chestnut Tree

The conkers are lying thick on the ground under the tree. I gather up around 15-20 and as I pass a wall further up with flat coping stones I lay out around 5, then further up lay out some more. Young school children pass them on their way home. As they're never there next day I assume they're well received. I often see other small groups on the wall so I'm not the only one supplying the kids.
