Founded in 2002 by David Cole, the mission of the Raven Rock Ramble bicycle ride is to raise awareness for organ donation.

 

Cole, a kidney transplant survivor himself, plans the event with the goal of creating a first-class event that cyclists center upon their calendar.

 

Proceeds benefit the UNC Kidney Center for direct patient services.
