This is what saved my iPod!
Due to the passcode I set up on my iPod after I bought it, (which makes it about as useful as a paperweight if you don't know the code) the person who stole it returned it to the laundromat where they stole it from while I was doing my laundry and had my back turned! (They did this after the police checked the security video in the laundromat, recognized the "suspects", and paid them a little visit. They denied taking it, but a few hours later they returned it! Benefit of a small town I suppose!)
