Assorted Miles City Matchbooks

Old matchbook covers from various businesses in Miles City, Montana.

The Ingham Hotel was located roughly at the southwest corner of 6th and Main Street. The entrance to the hotel lobby was on S. 6th Street. That building was later known as the El Robo Building and it burned to the ground in 1983.

The Milligan Hotel was located in the building at the northeast corner of 6th and Main Street. In recent times the lower level of that building housed a Sherwin Williams paint store (which relocated to a new building on S. Haynes Ave. in about 2014).

The Olive Hotel is still in business at the northeast corner of 5th and Main Street.

The Miles Howard was located mid-600 block on the south side of Main Street -- where Veterans Park is today between the Montana Bar and Hole in the Wall restaurant. The building burned to the ground in January 1985.
