I used to walk to school (less than 4 blocks) but in the winter time when it was subzero it seemed like miles. On extremely cold mornings I remember running the last block to get in this door and into the warmth of the school. How many high schooler's can say they were so eager to get to school in the morning that they ran the last stretch?
