Skoda vRS - Ta ra, au revoir, auf weidersehen etc
it has been a pleasure.
A total hoot to drive, reliability fabulous (unless you can call one blown bulb a reliability issue), servicing costs amazing, relative lack of depreciation a marvel.....I could go on.
The 2013 model Skoda Octavia vRS starts at a whisker under £23k. Nein danke. This was purchased smack bang in the middle of the "credit crunch" on a pre price increase, VAT free deal when they were keen to do business,it has to be the motoring bargain of the century.
200 delicious useable bhp on tap.
Not overly packed with kit or sophisticated, Think of it as a four wheeled RD350LC (fast, cheap and fun) and you will get the idea.
The finish was superb (no pun intended) and looked almost as good on the day it went as it did on the day it arrived.
Anyone who is living in the dark ages and who still thinks there is a stigma driving this brand is so, so wrong.
Did I say it had been a pleasure? Oops, yes I did. Well it had.
