Peterbilt Trucks x 3

This was taken by me in the late 80s at Hoover Dam on the border of Arizona and Nevada.

 

I've never seen anything like this before or since.

 

Any info about the truck and or what is going on would be gratefully appreciated.

 

I've called them trucks but again I am happy to be corrected.
