Guide dog
We went to see a theatre performance and one of the members of the band was blind or partially sighted and had his guide dog with him. During the show the dog couldn't remain with him so had to go and sit with the audience.
It clearly looks like he's missing his master but he sat (or lay) there as good as gold (no pun intended) for almost three hours.
Not the sharpest photo I've ever taken but it was with my phone in pitifully poor light.
I've got nothing but admiration for the charity Guide Dogs for the Blind. It takes up to seven years to train a guide dog and £50,000 for training and support throughout it's working life.
For more information about what it's all about, why not check out their website.
