Fifteen years ago I took the photo of Manchester City Centre from a mile or two outside. The Beetham Tower dominating the skyline and Granada Studios also on the horizon. Now the Beetham no longer stands out and has ben joined by a few more tall buildings. They must have sneaked five of them up without me noticing! looking at a shot from almost the same place taken in 2019 the blocks to the right weren't there.
Granada Studios was demolished. ITV moved to Salford Quays (I think). The new AVIVA Studios is on all or part of the site.
